II. Course Description
The PMP Certification Coaching Course is intended for project management practitioners who have demonstrated fundamental project management knowledge and experience by supporting projects using project management tools, techniques, and methodologies. These practitioners usually are in the early stages of their careers in project management, and have served on project management teams as project leaders and project team members who rely on experienced project management practitioners for guidance, direction, and approval.
This course will provide to the participants a higher degree of understanding of the project management basics necessary to take the PMP ® exam. This course is based on PMI’s PMBOK® Third Edition.
III. Course Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will:
1. Define the 5 process groups and the 9 knowledge areas.
2. Establish how each specific process and activity relates to each other.
3. Explain how to interpret all the major PMI® definitions and acronyms.
4. Practice and understand the exam’s format and typical questions.
5. Provide guidance to prepare a personal study plan for the PMP Exam.
